It’s exactly one week today until Manchester City get their 2018-19 season underway, in which Pep Guardiola and Co. will be striving to become the first team to defend the Premier League title since Sir Alex Ferguson led Manchester United in doing so back in 2009.

The club names their membership the ‘Citizens Matchday’ and offer a range of benefits from priority and discounted Manchester City football tickets to limited edition merchandise, and is one of the most popular ways of purchasing football tickets for matches at the Etihad Stadium.
Club members get exclusive match football ticket priority, meaning they are offered the chance to clinch their seats earlier than everyone apart from, of course, season ticket holders and there is no booking fee when buying your match tickets online.
As well as early access to home tickets in all competitions – the Premier League, Emirates FA Cup, Carabao Cup, and UEFA Champions League – £5 is taken off the price of all football tickets purchased by loyal members as a way to reward fans for their support.
Members also receive access to the Season card, more commonly known as a season ticket, Waiting List in which once their time comes, they’ll be contacted by the club and asked whether they want an annual seat for the upcoming season – you could be a season ticket holder at Man City as earlier as 2019!

The Citizens Matchday membership is available to Juniors (under 18s) and Adults (18+) for £25 and £35 respectively, and there are goodies in each 2018-19 season pack.
Juniors receive a limited edition scarf, City drawstring bag, Citizens pencil case, and stationery set, while Adults get a 2018-19 Matchday card, limited edition scarf, City presentation tin, Citizens Year Book and a cardholder.
